If you have recently purchased a penis pump but don’t know how to use it, you’ve come to the right place. Our guide will help you use your pump safely and effectively so that you can enjoy its full benefits, including a larger member and harder erections.
1. Choose the perfect penis pump
Before getting started, you’ll need to pick the right pump for your needs and experience level. There are many different options on the market, each one of them with its own strengths:
- Manual pumps: these options function thanks to squeeze bulbs or handles that are used to control the sucking. They offer precise pressure control and are often more budget friendly.
- Automatic pumps: perfect for beginners or those wanting an easy to use option, they work with a simple push of a button. The integrated motor controls the sucking function, making use effortless and also guaranteeing consistent intensity.
- Pumps with manometers: recommended for more regular use or to closely monitor the situation, they allow you to measure the pressure, and in some cases, to observe the increase in length and girth in real time.
Keep in mind these few things when making your choice:
- Comfort: choose a model that has a supple silicone ring or insert to avoid any irritation.
- Material: opt for a transparent, longwearing tube that’s easy to clean.
- Size: the pump should be long enough to house your penis without compressing it too much.
- Aims: some models are made to be used for intermittent use before sexual relations, others for gradual practice with the aim to improve the size and quality of your erection.

2. Apply some lube to the pump
Whether you’re using a manual or automatic pump, it is important to lubricate the ring or sleeve of your pump to make it easier to glide in and out. You can also apply some lube to your penis for more comfort and pleasure. We recommend using a water-based formula, especially if the ring or sleeve is made of silicone.
3. Make sure your penis is hard
Your penis should be erect, or at least semi-erect, so that you can insert it into the pump easily. If not, feel free to masturbate (manually or with another sex toy) until you achieve an erection.
4. Slide yourself into the penis pump
Insert your penis as far as possible into the pump so that the base of the tube is pressed against your pubic bone. This will create an airtight space, which is essential for the pump to work properly.
5. Start pumping
6. Keep on pumping
7. Press the decompression valve once you’ve finished your session
8. Pull out of the tube
9. Clean your penis pump after your session
Remember to clean your pump thoroughly with warm water and mild soap after every session. Allow it to air dry completely before storing it in a clean, cool area away from prying eyes. It will be as good as new for your next session!
We hope that you have fun with your new penis pump!
